Malaysian cuisine reflects the multicultural aspects of Malaysia. Various ethnic groups in Malaysia have their own dishes, but many dishes in Malaysia are derived from multiple ethnic influences. Food preparation differs from place to place, even though they are all cooking the same food. Different preparations have different taste and decoration, but generally the ingredients used are the same.

Malaysian Food

We, Malaysians and our diverse food choices. It is not uncommon for us to drive for hours, just to satisfy our taste buds with really good food.

Each state in Malaysia has different delicacies to offer. We have the most diverse offering of foods, including those from all over the world. Indulge in gourmet fusion cuisine created by talented chefs in designer restaurants, or sample an endless amount of goodies found practically bursting out of malls, store fronts and side-street hawker stalls.

This multi-cultural array of food has now come to be known all over the world as Malaysian Food.
